The English visit fell into two parts. The first was earlier in the year for just a few days. The
memorable part of this visit was the meeting up with Hoard Harper. Howard and I left New Zealand together in 1953. We had
been firm friends sharing an experience of dedication to the Lord; ministry and fellowship.
To find myself 52 years later meeting up again with both of us continuing on in meaningful ministry was
a moving experience. A visitor to Howard's home in Tumbridge Wells was Chummy Bejon and his wife another link with that
distant past. Chummy's father was one of the faithful Lahore Brethren who we met with.

The other half of the visit related to visiting Bristol in June. From there we hired a car and drove
north to Carslile returning via Sheffield, Hoylake and Gloucester.
In Bristol we had a memorable meeting with old United Bible Society colleagues from Hong Kong days.
