We arrived just following the Tsunami which wrought such destruction in the East and South of the country. Our stops were in Kandy and Colombo, areas not directly affected by the disaster. However, many of the students had relatives and ministries in these areas so we were brought into living contact with the human costs of the happening.

The first course, Cultural Anthropology, was taught at Lanka Bible College.

The second in Colombo on Development at M Div level. An interesting event as many were women well educated and linked to leadership people in the country.
